...in the meantime I had decided to teach my first dollmaking class

Here is Colleen's Modern Woman Doll.
She turned out to be gorgeous !

.....at the Sew'nVac Store in Stroudsburg and the doll pattern was to be epb's Modern Woman.

Three ladies had signed up for the class and I agreed to run the two day class as a 'trial balloon'...

It was so much fun showing and sharing what I had learned by doing so many of epb's patterns successfully during the previous 2 years and having had Evelyn as such a good teacher ...

Of cause, I brought my dolls as Show'n Tell and expressed my excitement about the upcoming workshop with elinor I was going to attend...I am so glad that I mentioned this in particular, because Colleen , obviously quite talented and a lot of fun to be with, immediately decided that she would also love to attend this workshop....It was fate that we met this way and my friend Evelyn, then 88 years old , declined to come along...so there was a seat for Colleen and this is how our friendship started....
