Making a Chenille scarf
again...it was my friend Evelyn who motivated and taught me how to make Chenille using double side printed cotton Flannel ...she took me to a fabric shop all the way in Delaware near Wilmington where I selected a plaid pattern. Then we went to work and cut and cut and cut fabric on the bias and layered and machine stitched row after row....then did the selected cutting of stitched 'channels' and finally it was going through a wash cycle in the washer and put into the dryer to tumble dry....what a surprise to see the amazing transition...
