I saw this Kit to knit an Afghan and fell for it ! I dug up my old knitting needles, even the ones I still have from my school days when I struggled knitting mittens,...oh my God...the thumbs...what an ordeal it was...they got thinner and thinner...my Mom saved me and fixed it, but I never learned to knit with 4 needles...

now, this Afghan with it's scalloped stitch knit pattern , and the variety of different textured yarns and colors reminds me of the 6 days it took to complete the the number 17 !!! these are the repetitious stitches I had to count in order to make the changes required to get this scalopped design...Yes, you, the reader , I admit it, I can get compulsive, but I can control it too...grins...
